During his interview to A1+ the former Advisor to the President of NKR, candidate of Armenian Presidential elections Arman Melikyan said that at present there is no presidential candidate, who will be able to solve two crucial issues – resolution of NKR conflict and fight against corruption. According to him on February 19 the past, present and future of Armenia will meet. “Only the elections will show which of the three is more important,” he said. To the question whether the run of the former NKR official won’t negativity affect the process of elections Melikyan answered, “Prior to being an NKR official I was one in Armenia. Everybody asks me whether I have an NKR origin. I feel shameful that they discuss such issues. I wasn’t born in NKR and was raised in Yerevan but would never think that I would pass such a purity test.”
