The questions of the MPs

Fore example, independent MP Victor Dallakyan, who is popular with his opposition behavior, has sent a written question to the government and offered to establish a temporary NA committee to estimate the level of use of the monetary funds spent on the Earthquake since 1989 because according to Dallakyan 20 years after the earthquake 30.000 people still remain without lodging. As Prime Minister Sargsyan said he is personally against the establishment of the committee. “I am against the establishment a committee and the conduct of inspections starting from 1989. I can agree with something else. Let’s check the last 3-4 years but checking the 20 year history I find useless. We will definitely set a deadline to when the 30.000 will have their lodgings. And this issue will definitely be solved shortly,” answered Sargsyan. Dallakyan mentioned that only the fact that the Prime Minister responds to these questions is a vital thing because he signifies the reconstruction of the Earthquake Zone. Besides that Dallakyan said that he is thankful that Sargsyan has always accepted all his recommendations connected with Vanadzor. And as the Prime Minister has always done so, Dallakyan decided to make another recommendation about Vanadzor. But this time Sargsyan has partly refused it. Dallakyan offered Sargsyan to convene an extraordinary session in Vanadzor in participation of all the mayors and governors of the Earthquake Zone and finalize the solution of this issue. “Let me remind you as a joke that in Vanadzor you used to endorse my opponent during elections. You were hopeful that his voice would be better heard in the NA but as you see mine is heard better,” stated Dallakyan at the end of his suggestion. Sargsyan also joked by saying that not only him but everyone doesn’t have any doubts about Dallakyan’s voice and added, “I know that your voice is both influential and effective but I am afraid we won’t accept this initiation but we are suggesting that you organize a consultation in participation of NA MPs in December. That way we could discuss not only the issues of Vanadzor but also Lori as a whole. But I think that it is unacceptable that people don’t have a lodging in the contemporary world regardless of whether it is a consequence of an earthquake or not.” And Heritage faction member Zaruhi Postanjyan wasn’t concerned about the fact that Robert Kocharyn had banned their party leader Raffi Hovhannisian’s nomination during presidential elections but instead she was concerned about the construction taking place in Yerevan. Postanjyan first thanked Sargsyan for resolving one of the issues, which she has raised earlier. We mean the illegal tree-cutting on the crossroads of Pushkin-Yekmalyan streets, where it turns out not only Postanjyan but also Sargsyan planted a tree. “Of course it was also due to the Heritage party that this illegal process was prevented,” said Postanjyan and adverted to tree-cutting in the Yeghbayrner street. She was interested whether Sargsyan was going to initiative preventive means for this case as well. By highly estimating the “cordial attitude” of the opposition MP Sargsyan mentioned, “By witnessing your efforts and success to prevent illegal tree-cutting I get surprised why you don’t solve all the other issues of this country. You could have solved those within a few days. As of your question it was new information for me. I promise to check on that and if something illegal happened we will prevent it and let you know. Moreover, we will do it with pleasure.”
