Recently businessman Hrant Vardanyan announced that he’s going to support RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan in the upcoming presidential elections. This statement is strange because Vardanyan has always been considered a pro-dashnak businessman and one of his sons is a member of the ARF parliamentary faction. Yesterday during his interview to our newspaper Hrant Vardanyan, who was taking part in the ARF Supreme Council, once again stated that he was going to endorse Sargsyan. “I am going to vote for Sargsyan and I have always been a supporter of the ARF and will remain one,” said Vardanyan and added, “If the ARF had Serzh Sargsyan as a candidate I would still endorse him. What’s the difference?”
