Answering to our question whether Ter-Petrosyan is true to say that if the existing authorities had anything to remind them, they would be in prison long before, secretary of NA ARP faction Samvel Nikoyan said, “We are not implementing compromising campaign, we will struggle for conducting free, fair and transparent elections. We don’t want to repeat the elections of 1996 as Ter-Petrosyan has said. I think that the existing authorities have been right not to start hunting wizards after the change of authorities in 1998, they did not enter the sphere of compromising and did not give a payback. It was done correctly in our country. As for their point that if they had anything to remind they would be in prisons, I think that they did right not to do so. In other words I think that there is no sense to criticize the existing authorities for not doing it”.
