According to director of the British polling agency ComRes, Andrew Hawkins 67% of 2000 respondents think that RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan will win the upcoming Presidential elections.
According to Hawkins the second place after Sargsyan occupies RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan – 4%, Chairman of the Legal State Party , Artur Baghdasaryan – 3%, chair of the Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisian- 2%. 1% each received the chair of the National Unity Party, Artashes Geghamyan, People’s Party chair, Tigran Karapetyan. Chair of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, NDU chair Vazgen Manukyan, member of ARF Bureau, Vahan Hovhannisyan. No votes received ARF Bureau member Armen Rustamyan, PPA chair Stepan Demirchyan and New Times Party chair Aram Karapetyan. "56% of the respondents are sure that mostly the educated people will vote during the February elections," said Hawkins. Raffi Hovannisian comes next with 11 percent, Arthur Baghdasaryan has 9 percent, Geghamyan has 8 percent, Vahan Hovanisyan has 6 percent, Vazgen Manukyan has 6 percent, Levon Ter-Petrosyan has 5 percent, Armen Rustamyan has 3 percent, Tigran Karapetyan has 2 percent. The only point is anti-corruption efforts when Serge Sargsyan is not a leader. Serge Sargsyan and Arthur Baghdasaryan are given 20 percent. Raffi Hovannisian is the second with 17 percent. He is followed by Geghamyan – 15%, Vazgen Manukyan – 7%, Vahan Hovanisyan – 6%, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Tigran Karapetyan – 5% each, and Armen Rustamyan – 4%. 31% of the pollsters think that Sargsyan is most capable of solving the social issues of the country, 22% was given to Raffi Hovhannisian, 21% Artur Baghdasaryan, 17% Geghamyan, 10% to Manukyan, 8% to Tigran Karapetyan, Rustamyan and Ter-Petrosyan 7% each, V.
