And finally the President of RA Robert Kocharyan has used his exquisite right to send a letter to the National Assembly requesting to nominate Ishkhan Zakaryan, deputy chairman of the National Assembly and a block member from Prosperous Armenia, as a candidate for chairmanship of the Control Chamber. The post of deputy chairman of the National Assembly assigned to Prosperous Armenia by the coalition memorandum is vacant now. According to our information in case if Ishkhan Zakaryan is appointed as the chairman of the Control Chamber by the vote of the parliament, the block session decided to nominate Arevik Petrosyan as the deputy chairman of the National Assembly instead of Avet Adonts. It was expected that the NA would summon an extraordinary session on November 2.
