The Russian Troyka Dialog investment company has bought the Armenian Armimpexbank. Yesterday the RA CB chairman Tigran Sargsyan told the journalists that the investment opportunities of the Troyka Dialog are important for the financial and economic development of Armenia. According to the founder of the Troyka Dialog, Ruben Vardanyan the access of the bank to Armenia is connected with the dynamic development of the financial market of Armenia as well as the Armenian partner Ameria company activity. The financial system of Armenia is string to develop in a new dynamics, the stock market is also developing and Ameria’s partner organizations need not only investments but also new banking services. The executive director of America, Anrdey Mkrtchyan mentioned that the key objective of the transaction was to establish an investment bank in Armenia. According to Vardanyan the investment programs are still pending and it’s anticipated to make a 50-million USD investment in the capital of the bank. During the coming 2-3 years it is planned to make the bank one of the top three banks of the republic. “TDA Holding Ltd” Foundation founded by the Russian Company “Troika Dialogue” obtained 96.15% of shares of the Armenian “Armimpexbank” by $13mln. The transaction was over in August. It’s also planned that stakeholders of the bank will become the senior employees of the bank, Ameria’s stakeholders. When speaking of the brand of the bank the founder of the Troyka Dialog mentioned that the question is still being discussed and perhaps it may be changed. Also, the staff of the bank may be refreshed in order to solve the set objectives.
