Yesterday the parliament adopted the bills aimed at terminating the operation of “Liberty” radio station in the territory of Armenia during the first reading with 79 votes for, 16 votes against and 1 abstention.
These bills will be discussed one more time during these 24 hours, and there is no doubt that the MPs that were elected in the parliament just for the sake of pressing buttons will adopt them again. People that don’t understand what freedom means don’t need free speech either; accordingly they don’t need “Liberty” radio station. Those who press buttons only wish that the ones doing their thinking could govern longer.
