Which is our unique way?

Yesterday FM Vardan Oskanyan said that the Karabakh conflict negotiations had come to a point, “where Azerbaijan avoids making the next step”. He also says that it is not excluded that the OSCE MG co-chairs will meet separately with the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, after which they will decide whether there will be an integrated meeting or whether the co-chairs will visit the region or not. By the way, Oskanyan thinks there are two problems with Kosovo. He thinks that if Kosovo gets independence, the international community may say that “it is given to Kosovo only and that is all”. Otherwise, if Kosovo does not become independent, they may say “we didn’t even give independence to Kosovo, how can we give independence to Karabakh?” “That is why Karabakh has its unique way, which is the way to self-determination, which is an irreversible process and will reach its final point; it has been done de facto, and it needs to be recognized de-jure through negotiations,” said Oskanyan.
