The opposition must participate with one united candidate during the 2008 presidential elections. This is what Felix Khachatryan, member of the People’s Party of Armenia, announced on Friday, and did not deny the rumors that the partisan workers of the oppositional parties had turned pro-government during the parliamentary elections. In fact, Khachatryan once again didn’t mention whether Stepan Demirchyan, leader of the party, is ready to give up running for president for the sake of a united candidate.
