Yesterday Bernard Fasier, the French co-chair of the OSCE MG, said during a press conference dedicated to the official talks with Baku that Kocharyan and Aliev will meet in Saint Petersburg on June 9, within the scope of their participation in the non-official meeting of the leaders of CIS countries. “The fact that the presidents have agreed is good news. However, we shall note that we can’t expect that all problems will be solved during that meeting,” said Fasier. He said that he hoped “there would be improvements in the settlement process”. He also said that as part of the final preparations of the meeting the chairs would visit the region one more time, which will be after the visit of Spanish FM Angel Moratinos at the beginning of June.
