No followers

On April 28, the Armenian National Movement announced that it is not going to participate in the elections “with the purpose of promoting the consolidation of the oppositional electorate” and the hope that other political parties will follow in their footsteps. It turned out that there will be no followers. During an interview with “168 Hours” leader of the “New Times” political party, Aram Karapetyan ruled out that their party would follow the Armenian National Movement. Representative of the “Republic” political party Suren Surenyants said the same. It can not be doubted that “National Unity”, “Country of Law” and other parties that have declared themselves oppositional are not going to follow the Armenian National Movement.
