Yesterday, finally, the Karen Demirchyan museum was opened in Yerevan. The red ribbon was cut by Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan, Demirchyan’s widow Rima Demirchyan, and their grandchild. Demirchyan’s widow thanked everyone for the initiative, including President Kocharyan, the mayor of Yerevan, Sargsyan, and former prime minister Andranik Margaryan. “I have conflicting feelings,” said Rima Demirchyan. “On the one hand, I still feel the loss, since these eight years have not consoled… On the other hand, I feel satisfied and proud that Karen’s life did not pass in vain.” Answering a question as to whether the ARP may enter into a bloc with its former partner ADP, Serge Sargsyan said, “I don’t exclude anything until the elections are over.”
