NA “Armenian Republican Party” faction secretary Gagik Melikyan assures that the number of businessmen in the proportional lists of their party will not grow, but will be reduced. Instead of that they will give those places to young people and women. Mr. Melikyan says that if the businessmen want to enter the parliament again, they can be nominated under majoritarian system. “Furthermore, if they think their business affects the legislative work, they can change their minds and not take part in the elections” he said and added that there will not be any surprises in the ARP proportional lists. Mr. Melikyan assures that the ARP believes that they can really have majority in the parliament with such electoral lists.
