According to the official information of Yerevan, the construction of Kars-Akhalkalak railways cannot isolate Armenia, cannot influence on the Armenian economy, it follows political purposes only and its expenditure is not reasonable. It is worth mentioning that RA foreign affairs minister Vardan Oskanyan said in the parliament on February 7 that everything was not clear and defined in Georgia concerning that construction “since they say that it may hinder the work of their ports”. In fact, it means that the expenditure will be reasonable and the railways will operate so effectively that may hinder the work of the Georgian ports.
