“Nagorno-Karabakh and the other seized territories of Azerbaijan are our lands and the Azerbaijani deputies have the right to visit. But the meeting of the Azerbaijani deputies and the Nagorno-Karabakh separatist regime authorities is impossible,” announced PACE Azerbaijani delegation member and deputy of Mili Mejlis Aydin Mirzazaden, according to “Trend”. Recalling that during the PACE winter session, head of the subcommittee on Nagorno-Karabakh lord Russel Jonston had proposed to visit Nagorno-Karabakh along with the Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations, Mirzazade said that the Azerbaijani delegation “didn’t object that by showing constructiveness”.
“But it’s unknown where he would go-Armenia or Azerbaijan. If the Azerbaijani delegation leaves for the seized lands, from where is the visit going to start?” said Mirzazade, adding that the details still need to be discussed.
