It seems as though the “41 Oppositionist Candidates” operation heard about for months and discussed for a long time has been forgotten. Are the leaders of the oppositional parties ready to participate in the upcoming Armenian parliamentary elections based on the majority electoral order or not? In response to this question, representative of the Armenian Popular Party Grigor Harutyunyan told “168 Hours”: “We said that it would be correct if all the oppositional party leaders put up their candidatures, however, unfortunately, there are some leaders who don’t want to do that and that will be dangerous.” According to him, Stepan Demirchyan has always said during the consultations that he is ready to be nominated.
