Yesterday the NA with 64 for and 5 against votes has adopted the bill on state anthem by the second reading, which states following: “the current “Our Fatherland” anthem is valid until Armenia adopts the text and the music of the new anthem of RA.” The bill will be subject to discussion and adoption through third reading next Monday. In the event of its adoption minimum 10 days will be required for its official application. Yesterday with 72 for and 2 abstained votes the NA has also adopted the draft law on amendments of Electoral Code of RA.
