Armenian President Robert Kocharyan talked about the “Prosperous Armenia” party during his interviews with well-known Armenian television channels last week, mentioning that Armenia finally has a new, political power with a simple slogan: “We care about our people.” It turns out that the rest of the parties, especially the United Labor Party (ULP), don’t care about the people because apparently the president wasn’t aware of that. Does the ULP really not care about the people and is it going to keep doing charities? In response to this question, leader of ULP Gurgen Arsenyan said: “I didn’t come here to litigate the Armenian president’s statements. The president of Armenia makes his announcements based on his own logic.”
