Yesterday NA deputy Hmakayak Hovhannisyan collected 20 signatures from deputies to advocate for setting free the head of “Protection of Captured Territories” civic initiative, Jirayr Sefilyan. The mentioned statement of deputies petitions the police to raise all the baseless accusations and set him free. The deputy wants to petition the government to give Sefilyan citizenship of Armenia as well, but the deputy says that the most important thing is setting Sefilyan free. The coalition deputies, National Unity party representative deputies and some independent deputies did not advocate for collecting signatures.
