The national statistics department has published a statement concerning inflation tendency as of November, 2006. Compared to October the prices have grown by 1% in November. The mentioned department has registered a higher inflation monthly mark only once, which was in January (2.5%). The mentioned inflation mark is higher by 3.5% compared to December month of last year. As for the 12-months mark compared to the same period of last year, it has reached 6%. Please note that the planned limit of inflation for this year was 3%, however later it was revised and defined 5%, +/- 1.5% . This means that the CB has more 0.6% inflation line and can drive it up to 6.5% . The most important thing is the fact that the CB has taken lessons from its past performance and doesn’t define the inflation limit mark so low as last year (around 2.5-5.5%). Nevertheless, for next year it has defined the same inflation limit (3%).
