Yesterday the “draft law on alienating properties for state needs” was adopted by second reading in the parliament (70 votes for, 2 votes against). According to ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan, this law should be totally amended and improved. The representatives of “National Unity”, “Rule of Law” and “Justice” parties did not take part in the voting process. By the way, yesterday the citizens that suffered from alienating their houses on Buzand street and Northern Prospect organized a rally near the parliament, nevertheless, it did not stop the parliament to adopt the law.
