“It is necessary to change the environment in Armenia. The situation cannot change just the next day after changing the ruling power” said Vazgen Manukyan after the first discussion of the “civic initiative” movement. The mentioned movement is led by Vazgen Manoukyan and leader of “Heritage” party Raffi Hovhannisyan. Vazgen Manoukyan said that it is essential to create an institution like pyramid, which would replace the authorities: “There should be a network system, club unions of small collaborating powers… There should be a big network to struggle against these authorities”.
Answering to a question whether the political movement of Alexander Arzumanyan (civic disobedience) may join their initiative Mr. Manukyan said: “Sure it may. Even though we think that their role is important, it is not so important to join groups. Our difference is the viewpoints: they think everything will be good as soon as these authorities are replaced, we think that there should be some principles in the basement to replace these authorities so that the next powers can work effectively”.
