It won’t go up

The Public Services Regulatory Commission refuted the offer made by “ArmenTel” to raise prices for telephone and Internet services. Back in September, “ArmenTel” had offered the commission to raise the fixed telephone fee and the Internet fee per minute. “ArmenTel” had applied to the commission, suggesting raising the monthly 1100 dram fee to 3,000 drams for citizens and 4,200 drams for legal persons. The company had offered reducing the 360 special minutes to 280. Supposedly, the price for one minute after those minutes was also supposed to go up. As for using the Internet, “ArmenTel” had offered fixing the price at 2.4 drams a minute. The commission considered this offer as baseless and has given “ArmenTel” until March 1st of next year to provide grounds for that.
