“Armenia has hope that Turkey’s strive to get admitted into the European Union will lead to the discussions in Turkey regarding the Armenian Genocide,” announced Robert Kocharyan in Cyprus. He also said that Turkey’s strive to get accepted into the European Union must lead to having normal relations with neighboring countries. “Armenia is interested in Turkey’s admission process,” said Kocharyan. President of Cyprus Tasoso Papadopulos announced that the government of Cyprus will continue to help Armenia as in international issues, as well as bilateral relations.
