According to our sources of information from Washington, the issue of allocating international peacekeeping forces in Karabakh has not been discussed by the OSCE MG co-chairmen. However, we were told that the peacekeeping troops will represent those countries that will be accepted by both of the conflicting countries. “The issue was discussed partially, but they haven’t discussed it finally yet” assure our sources and note that sooner or later Karabagh will be recruited in the process of negotiations. “Now neither of the parties wants to recruit Karabagh in the negotiations”, they say, “We hope we will have a new government that will be legitimate and will be respected by the public. In this framework we think that the upcoming elections are very important”.
