“The Central Bank is implementing a policy aimed towards controlling inflation” said the head of the Russian Central Bank, Sergey Ignatev. The latter also said that the growth in the price of the national currency is a normal process in conditions of high macro economic factors and low level of inflation, which makes the growth in non-trade fields slower. “However, the real sector in Armenia is able to adapt to such processes quickly” said Sergy Ignatev. Some officials say that inflation will cross the 6% limit this year, i.e. will be more than the head of the Armenian CB has forecasted. As for this mark, it is low since it doesn’t reflect the real situation. Specialists say that this year the inflation mark will be more than reported officially.
