The murderers have not been punished yet

01/11/2006

Seven years have passed since the terrorist acts at the RA National Assembly, which took place on October 27, 1999. It took so long to reveal the real intentions of the criminals that society and politicians lost interest in it too; after all, to be interested in something means to be active and discover something. Seven years have passed and Armenia still knows as much as it knew back then. The NA speaker, Tigran Torosyan assures that the reason of that murder was hatred: “I think that the people coming to the parliament and passing by this monument should understand that hatred may become a reason for such crimes”. As for the head of the Republican faction, Galoust Sahakyan, he thinks that the real “reasons and criminals” have not been punished yet and believes that one day they will be revealed, however, the Sahakyan thinks that it was organized by outside forces.
