According to the information of the Armenian national statistic services (NSS), Armenian economy has grown by 12.5% through the course of the January and September. As for the monthly growth, it is more and the growth mark of September compared to August covers 26.3%. Statisticians say that September was progressive for production too (4.2% growth). As usual, most of the growth tendency is due to the development in the field of construction (39.6%). Services have grown by 22%, while agriculture remains at the same mark. Foreign trade was recognized as the field with the most development; however, this field has been criticized. In September, import went up by 5.3% in Armenia compared to August, while export grew by 41.9%. The information provided by the SSS is incomplete, otherwise we would analyze the situation and find out what our country has produced and exported in a geographical location, where Russian-Georgian relations are poor, currency exchange rates are not stable and there are problems with transportation.

Income has grown by 19.8%. As for unemployment, it has reduced by 2.9%. Now let’s discuss the issue of inflation. Statisticians say that in September, prices went down by 0.3% compared to August. In other words, as they say, Armenian economy is growing at a rapid pace, prices are falling down, people are getting employed and earning a lot of money, life is beautiful in Armenia and people are happy. If things go at this rate, the opposition will not have any reasons to criticize the authorities and organize strikes; furthermore, farmers will not have to stand in lines for days just to get fertilizer for potatoes.
