“I condemn any violence,”said Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Tigran Torosyan regarding the beating of Suren Abrahamyan. However, Torosyan thinks its strange that Abrahamyan immediately pointed a finger at the Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Markaryan, claiming that it was his order and that Markaryan had called him criminal. “It’s just a provocation and it’s too bad that S. Abrahamyan took that seriously. I hope that the police will do everything they can to reveal the case as soon as possible,” said Markaryan and added that after the revelation it will be clear whether the Republican party or the Prime Minister had something to do with the violent act.
