77 congressmen have sent a letter to President Bush asking him to recognize the 15th independence year of Karabakh and develop economic relations with Karabakh. According to “A1+”, the letter of the representation office of Karabakh in Washington writes that the people of Karabakh wish to build a democratic and economically stabile state. The representative of Karabakh in the U.S., Vardan Barseghyan, said that during these years Karabakh has received much economic and political support from the U.S.A. “We are grateful to the American people for their lavish economic support, which helped the people that suffered from the war much”, said V. Barseghyan.
