It’s hard to say how many registered organizations there are involved in taking surveys. The number of those organizations is growing as Armenia approaches the parliamentary and presidential elections. Those organizations either get money from abroad, or from local benefactors. In Armenia, surveys are used as a tool for propaganda and political PR, thanks to which many parties receive feedback from the people. The most interesting thing is that neither the people organizing the surveys nor the people of Armenia, nor the people taking the survey believe in that. The people believe what they see. Every Armenian knows who’s who at the social, economic and political levels.
