We’ll see

In regard to the Armenian opposition’s statements about the criminalization of the Armenian Republican Party, Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Markaryan demanded coming up with concrete facts. I found out from the opposition when they plan on presenting the facts during a briefing held at the National Assembly.

“The fact is Armenian reality. Aren’t they criminals by committing electoral fraud? We have presented the facts to the Constitutional Court, but none of those facts have been paid attention to. Facts are printed in the press, but nothing is being done,” said leader of the “Justice” faction Stepan Demirchyan. According to him, police have to fight against the criminals, but since the authorities have gone along with whatever those criminals do, it’s natural to see them doing nothing.

“The lack of punishment for murders in the country proves that the country is prospering as a country full of criminals.”

A couple of months ago MP Arshak Sadoyan proposed fighting against the criminals by forming groups consisting of 20-25,000 people, but the “Justice” alliance rejected that. In response to the question as to whether the opposition would go along with Sadoyan’s proposal, Demirchyan said:

“Sadoyan has talked about that many times and we have told him to start out with his poll and we’ll see.
