The U.S. Embassy to Armenia has given facts and documents containing information on corruption given by “Global Gold” company. “Mediamax” has been told by the U.S. Embassy that they have studied the evidence and think that they are worth thinking about. The presses have covered such issues before and have written that the minister of environmental preservation, Vardan Aivazyan, has taken bribe from the mentioned company and the facts that contained information about that have been given to the president of Armenia by Ambassador John Evans. Later John Evans denied those rumors. As for Vardan Aivazyan, in regard to what he said about not hearing anything like that and was unaware of any documents, he said: “You can ask that from the Embassy. I don’t know anything about that. If they go on like this, they will have problems”, said the minister.
