Defense Minister of Armenia Serge Sargsyan was simply amazed to hear that some Armenian presses were talking about Armenian president Kocharyan discussing the nomination of Serge Sargsyan as the next presidential candidate after his term ends during the president’s meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
“The person who has spread that information has done so in order to disorient the society and thinks that he knows more than the most powerful special services of the world; it is just amazing and nonsense”. The defense minister believes that those who spread the rumors are only after one thing: “They want to be on top of the game. They want to have power to influence on the society by using bad methods. The desire to be on top is not condemning, the methods and means are condemning. Furthermore, it is condemning when people make such assumptions without thinking”.
