Russia has suggested opening the border passing point of “Lars” by September 3. According to Russian officials, the purpose of this is to let citizens return to their residencies before September. According to “Itar-Tass”, they have been informed by the ministry of foreign affairs of Georgia that they have accepted the mentioned suggestion. According to our information, the border will be open soon. The border had been closed since July 8.
