Vartan Oskanyan said the following to the statement made by President
of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Boris Grizlov, claiming
that Russia is a fore post for the Southern Caucasus: “That was just an
announcement. I don’t think that the word fore post clearly defines our
relations with Russia. I am certain that Mr. Grizlov meant the present
day good relations.”
