Recently, criminals killed businessman and head of an organization for protecting children’s rights Aelxandr Goviev on the Ashtarak-Gyumri highway. The criminals also killed a lady that sold fruit near that highway. The public prosecutor’s office of Aragatsotn Marz has instituted legal proceedings connected with this murder. According to “Azatutyun” radio station, the criminals drove a Vaz-21/09 model car that had been stolen two months before that and drove it to a nearest territory 10 kilometers away and burnt the car. Later policemen found a pistol in the car that had been burnt. There aren’t any other official information or details. According to “Azatutyun” radio station, their sources of information say that after the murder the local police officers didn’t take trained dogs to the scene of the crime to find the criminals and complained that they didn’t have gas to drive to that place. The police didn’t have any helicopters either to find the criminals. There are rumors saying that the murder was ordered from abroad and the murderers had come from abroad too. A Russian newspaper has published names of criminal masterminds in Russia (mafia) and wrote the name of Alexandr Givoev among them (nickname – “Hay-Huj”).
