“The president is happy to see the RA defense minister join the Republican party and preside the board,” announced the president’s press-secretary Viktor Soghomonyan. “The fact that politicians with good reputations join parties and gather together is positive and may be very good for the Armenian political field, which is currently very far from being ideal. It is a very positive, moreover, if we take into account the fact that during the previous years, parties have disbanded more than strengthened by politicians and other personalities that could join them and have the same ideologies”, said Viktor Soghomonyan.
