Energy distribution networks to be given to “Interenergo”

The RA Public Services Regulatory Commission has made a decision to allow the owner of the energy distribution networks of Armenia, “Midland Resources” company to sell energetic distribution networks to “Interenergo” company, which is a part of the Russian RAO EES company. According to “ARKA”, member of the mentioned commission, Samvel Arabajyan said that the terms of operation would not change, the owner would simply sell its stocks to another company. The director of the new company of the Armenian energy distribution networks, Anatoli Vagner has said that the company is going to invest $7 million in the networks within the next month. This sum will be spent on innovation and improvement of the network’s technology.
