Day of Armenians in Brazil

The parliament of the Brazilian Seara region has proposed a bill and the senator of the region, Luiziana Oliverna has approved. According to the bill, April 24 is considered as the Day of Armenians in the region dedicated to the Armenian Genocide. Seara is the second region of Brazil after San Paulo that has legally recognized the Armenian Genocide. Seara is one of the most developed regions of Brazil. The Armenian Diaspora community of Seara is small, but it is respected much by the locals.
