According to the public prosecutor’s office of Armenia, on July 14, the RA police arrested A. Khandoyan, who was accused of robbing “Ardshininvestbank” while he was trying to cross the Armenian-Georgian border. The police checked up A. Khandoyan and confiscated 1 kilogram of jewelry, 13.260 USD and 5.000 Euro from him. The police found 10 more kilograms of jewelry in the garden near the house of A. Khandoyan’s father-in-law, as well as 5,4 more kilos and 4.400.000 drams in his friend’s mechanic shop. On July 11, A. Babayan, accused of the mentioned robbery as well, went to the police station and gave in. The other two robbers that participated in the robbery have also been arrested.
