The RA military and criminal investigation secondary court rejected an interpellation asking to revise the court’s decision to arrest editor of “Time Yerevan” newspaper, Arman Babajanyan. The lawyer of the editor, Arman Babajanyan has applied to the first instance court of Central and Nork Marash communities to revise the court’s decision to arrest the editor. Arman Babajanyan was arrested on June 26 for falsifying documents and escaping military service. The mentioned interpellation contained letters and signatures of many people, including 19 MPs, assuring that while released, the editor would not create obstacles for the investigation of the case. The secondary court didn’t consider the mentioned facts enough for revising its decision. R. Grigoryan is going to apply to the RA supreme court as well.
