Recently Russian newspaper “Izvestia” published an article about what the children of the presidents of CIS countries do. Based on that article, the son of Ukrainian president Viktor Youschenko has a BMW M6 model car in Kiev (130k Euro), has a Vertu model mobile phone ($25.000) and orders champagnes worth $1.000 in restaurants. According to the Ukrainian president’s office, Andrey spends all that he earns legally: Andrey works for an advisory company and all the brands of “Orange Revolution” belong to him. The elder son of Aleksandr Lukashenko works with his father as an advisor on national security issues. The richest one among the children of CIS presidents is the daughter of Islam Karimov. Gyulnara has a network of jewelry shops in Tashkent. She also has several mass media companies. Three years ago she sang in the “Big Theatre” of Moscow and dreams of singing in “La Scala”. Ilham Aliev’s daughter, Leila, met the son of famous businessman from Moscow, Araz Aghalarov in Switzerland, later they got married and moved to Moscow. According to “Izvestia”, Robert Kocharyan’s three children have graduated from an ordinary school in Yerevan, and later they got accepted into University in Armenia. His elder son, Sedrak, 25 works at a bank now. He is married and has a child. As for the other two children, Gayane, 22 and Levon, 20, they study at the Jurisprudence department of the Yerevan State University.
