On July 7, the RA police made an announcement stating that they had revealed the bank theft at the “Ardshininvestbank” branch in the Malatya community of Yerevan. On July 3 bank officers called the local police department and told them that the bank was robbed, but they didn’t know when the crime took place exactly because they noticed that the bank had been robbed after they got back from the weekend (July1-2). On July 3, the door of the bank branch was damaged and the police guard had escaped. It was evident that the mentioned policeman helped the burglars. On July 6, the RA police found out that the group consisted of four people. Two of them have been arrested. According to the police, they have found a part of the stolen money and jewelry in the Malishka village of Vayots Dzor region.
