The modeling was carried out in “Airbus SAS” company with French, Armenian and Russian experts. The specialists recovered the performance parameters of the plane before the accident and modeled it. According to the RA CACB, the specialist got very important information after modeling and they are going to compare that information with the information they had been provided before that. After doing so, the ICAO will announce its discoveries in its final announcement. The ICAO commissions will finish their work on July 10. This will be done with head of the RA CACB flight security department, Gagik Galstyan.
While the ICAO is processing and summoning the information they have, the Russian press is developing new versions of the catastrophe. On July 6, Russian “Moskovski Komsomolts” newspaper wrote details about the accident and took an interview from pilot Alexandr Akimenkov. According to him, the altitude the plane was flying in was not enough for the crew of the plane because the plane crashed just at the moment when it was getting ready for a horizontal flight. “I think that the crew’s job on the plane was a result of technical difficulties. For instance, the plane might have had problems with the auto-pilot and it might be turned off automatically”, said Akimenkov. Based on what was happening at the last moment in the pilots’ cabin, Akimenkov said that the crew was not only to blame. “Ask pilots and they will say that it is not the first time that European jets experience problems with their auto-pilots. In spite of that, they are not going to stop producing them as Russians did with their “IL96” plane recently. I would like to say that pilots don’t want to kill themselves and if they die and take hundreds of passengers with them, we shouldn’t blame them, but should look for the guilty that are alive”, said the Russian pilot.
In fact, after decoding the black boxes, when everyone said that it was the pilots’ fault that the plane crashed, “Moskovki Comsomolets” wrote a version for the first time saying that the accident might be a result of the plane’s technical difficulties. Anyway, all the versions so far are non-official and we should wait several more days until the ICAO informs the public.
