The Armenian Republican party is planning to hold an out-of-turn meeting on July 22. According to head of the parliamentary Republican faction, Galust Sahakyan, it is expected to make some reforms in the party’s charter during the meeting. Based on the reforms, some Republicans holding positions may have the chance to become members of the party board. It’s obvious that Minister of Defense Serge Sargsyan will be able to become a board member.
“If Sargsyan joins the Republican party, then he will become a member of the board,” said G. Sahakyan.
