Armenian economy has been growing for the past three days. It had been stagnating the previous two days. The AMD exchange rate changes cannot be explained in another way because the CB head says that the reason is the economical growth of Armenia. It turns out that Armenian economy grows a couple of days rapidly, and then goes down again during several days… It is worth mentioning that the fall of the AMD affects local producers and citizens receiving financial aid from abroad. In spite of this, there is a very important factor: all currency exchange rate changes affect the economy regardless of whether it goes up or down. The main goal of the CB is to keep the financial field stable, which Tigran Sargsyan isn’t able to do.
