In regard to the recent murders of Armenians and foreigners in Moscow, Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Margaryan said that this was not only aimed towards Armenians. “Of course, I think that this is very bad, but in my opinion, this is not only against Armenians. If this goes on, it’s quite possible that the Russians living in the CIS countries will be in danger of getting a payback. The Russian authorities and police must take certain steps against this”, said A. Margaryan. According to him, this has happened in Russia before, “For some reason, there are more murders nowadays”. In other words, the prime minister doesn’t think that the Armenian authorities should complain to the Russian authorities because they condemn these crimes too. “If the state supported them, we could protest and make them stop. But the Russian authorities show that they are against it and this is not Russia’s policy. As for us Armenians, we will speak out by all means”.
