First oil-cargo ship to move from Jeyhan harbor

The first oil-cargo ship carrying Azeri oil moved from the Jeyhan harbor on June 4. This was announced on “Haber Turk” TV channel by the program manager of “BOTA BTC” company, Heckman Chelagoli. The British ship called “The British Hawthame” belongs to British “Catoni” company. The oil-carrying ship, which weighs 85.000 tons, will move to the Sovana harbor. It is expected to have 150.000 tons of oil in the 7 terminals named after H. Aliev H. Aliev of Jeyhan harbor, where oil comes through the Baku-Tblisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline. The first one to purchase their oil is the “ExxonMonil” American oil company.
